Here are ways use incidental activity to beat sedentary behaviour. 

1. Squat while you watch

Do bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, squats, core exercises and star jumps while watching TV.

2. Go up

Pick up the pace when walking.

3. Park smartly

Park at the edge of the carpark and walk briskly to your destination.

4. Garden your way to fitness

Digging, mowing and raking all count as incidental exercise.

5. Shop up a sweat

Use the stairs over the lift or escalator when wandering through the mall or shopping centre.
